out this A.M.

ive been ramping things up lately - nothing serious - just trying to add more activity to my life - and that seems to be working - doing some walking, some house cleaning (lots more to do yet).
Just getting up and out and moving. my stories have invovled a little more action lately - hiking and hunting for garbage dumps - standing on a fishing tossing fishing boat all day

And stretching every morning - thinking about the next level - actually havent thought about it much - but went for a run this morning...

burning cold

the cold continues its grip - yesterday was rough - but so warm - i was overdressed and sweated that damn cold - even got some exercise - unloading my car - must have been 5,000 trips up and down the stairs - and when i get around to cleaning that rat hole, well, that will be more exercise - what i am really looking for right now is a sane life - i want to do things that will feeed me - feed my soul, my happiness, my health, my sanity - the bank account of sanity and health has gotten pretty low - hence the cold and niggling depression -

shins

done so much walking in flat shoes the last few days, my shins are sore - yay!
walked with jen and den around point pleasant today - nice - lots of people out running - in shorts and some of them even looked happy about it
done lots of thinking and mulling this week - i have said this so many times but it has to be done - i have to start doing all those little things that i know are good me - sleep, meditate, walk, run, work physically, eat healthy regularly slowly
for nowjust getting to bed on time - spending lots of time in bed - thats number one.

walking

thursday was a "rest" day although there was a fair amount of walking back and forth to my parked car LOL
today friday i built some exercise in to the day by walking down to the ferry and up to king's and at the end of the day i walked home from brunswick street to the ferry and the ferry home - tired - tomorrow - saturday - need some more upperbody work and sunday a short jog?

my goal right now is just to keep active for another week before busting out a plan - and some real goals - going for a nap now

ack

the boot camp vacation continues
Tuesday did some moving and lifting but the big chore turned out to be six hours of aggresssive wallpaper scraping - lord lipton cup o soup - what a work out
Wednesday was the big day and I did a whole lot of carrying of big boxes - managed to not pull any muscles - then there was the unpacking and getting the place ready for the boys - i set up the TV room and made the beds with shel - also packed up the civic with the last of junk from rob and shel's basement - including Dad's sheepskin liner for his coast guard jacket - what should i do with that thing?
slept well - what will today's exercise be?

snow

sonow that's haling,snowing raining and just generally yucky it is time for me to start running again - hahaha
last two days have involved some exercise- i have a week off and every day i plan to be ACTIVE :p
after dropping jb off sunday i took a walk (LOL) along the folly river gorge - too much water for crossing, i had to do a lot of climbing to get around rocky outcrops - it is the best and my fave exercise of all - up and down and up down those seriously scary giorge walls - a couplke times i ended up in spots where i couldnt go down and going up looked too scary - somehow - thank lucky luck the luck god - i am here today -
all told i think i was in there 4 hours - a lot of walking, climbing jumping SWEATING

and today i went for a walk around victoria park in truro - beautful crisp day - much asier hike but still a good strecth - tmorrow htte moving startsin earnest so that'll be a work out LOL

serioulsy thouhg - when i get back the hope is to start adding a lot more physical exercise to my life - and more sleep and better eating - time to start doing that stuff right - all of it. cross your fingers for me
