still going 310 to go

tngiht's was the closest to disaster yet - stopped for coffee and donuts in y'mth on way home for barrington - drove to 2km sign on 101 - got out ran back to 1 km sign and back - finished run at 11:57 - close

legs feel strong if tight - strong - fast - going places

stil procrastinating on upper body - :( errrgghh

no boots

er yes boots - forgot my sneakers somehow - so saturday night before supper after skiing all day i went for a run in my snowmobile boots - minded it much less sunday night and hardly at all monday night - satu/ sun from hippys to route four and back
mon - rob's to sullivans pond and back

sunday also included a full day of athletic skiing
and monday a five hour hike in the snow of folly river gorge

upper body - need to start :)

sore - arrgghh - gotta run - snowy slippery - this will only be my second weekend away in the last 50 days - weekends away scare me - where will i be satruday? will i run? where will i be sunday? will i run?

weak from the week

not hard to understand why ive been slackposting - ive been a little busy
last monday i planned to "go longggg" - well i certain;y worked my endurance

the pager went off before id gotten to bed - it was late but i was hopingid sleep monday - ha -
3 am monday i went with the boys to my second fire and worked ass for 8 straight hpurs - never got to sleep until 4 pm - and yes, when i got back from my the second fire call, i went for my run - :P

tuesday was really beat and sore but ran nonetheless - and wednesday and tonight- just before midnight - yesterday i ran FAST again

also bought men's health training manual and am starting tuesday when i get back

six weeks down

been running 42 days straight
last night was a late run - with my camera - so i stopped a couple times -
this morning was a fast run - well i dont know how fast i was going bit i do know i was pushing it - not a lot just pushing it a touch - stopped today too when someone yelled "Are you out chasing your innner tennis ball?" in reference to my colum n of a few weeks ago - hahahaha - it was diane and junior

went an extra block to make up for stopping - i plan to go longgg tomorrow - but where...
might work out a little tonight - still sore all over

slack but not

been slack with the posts but not the running - was out late Wednesday and out early before work Thursday - ended up sprinting home quite hard - faster faster faster - love that feeling
Friday's run I left til after work - and incidentally after fighting fire all day in Jordantown - my whole body aches today - stiff - did one chin up at hall when i stopped in to put away my pants - going to be a rogh deal gettting this upperbody in shape
but then i like rough deals

Sunday was a quick run in the evening
Monday was a late night run pretty fast bbecause of cold
Tuesday was a first thing in the morning run - fun - nice to have it overwith early in the day PLUS running around Dartmouth point - woot - fun

slept late today - will have to run tonight?

checked out gym equipment at fire hall - they've got it all :)

Month 2

wed and thursday i got the run over before work - makes for a relaxing night - today i didnt - too warm tonight in hoody and T and 2 long sleeves - sweating

feeling like 2km is nothing - which is a good feeling - compared to the week hurting self of a month ago - time to start stretching out a little distacne wise - oh yeah
