break

had a great night sleep last night - made my world famous holiday leftover stir fry
and then curled up in bed with a great book and a slice of caramel pecan cheesecake (also leftover)
out for a run this AM - i think my last of 2006 - tomorrow i may be skiing - sunday resting and monday it begins - 365 days of running - day in day out - rain sleet snow wont be my problem - fitting it in with work and weekends away is going to be the kicker - and what if jony and i go on some killer three day hike - am i going to get up and run in the morning before we start walking - we'll see :D

didnt run in b'water but i did run in falmouth and windsor - down the dyke by kazmirski's, over the bridge, round the lake, back across the causeway - probably 3 km or so - freezing rain - quite fun and feeling good - going to run now - dark

ran yesterday (friday) after we finished the paper and before i did my laundry - it is becoming a habit - whew - slept at hippy's last night and went for a little EXPLORE this A.M.

run

hard going - just get warmed up and ready to do something and the run is over - good sign - for the days ahead - thought a very profound thought on my run but it is lost - also fleshing out schedule to make the walking on my hands thing work this coming year - the first of january i will start doing By Man Alone three times a week and by then end of January I will start doing handstands against the wall - by the end of Febraury i should be doing some shoulder push ups that way - we'll see how that goes ...

out for a run again this AM after a long sleep - from 7:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. - yum - could do that again

i am not running far - just over 2km - that will be far enough if it's going to be every day - we'll see - i will start going longer when i get well and truly used to going every day - that is going to be the kicker - stayin well and strong and energized enough to go every day - tomorow is a rest day - my calves are sore this am - then ill try another three days in a row

nicole made me an appt for 7:45 am today and of course i slept in until 7:10 so i rushed out the door and pushed myself around the short course ive been doing - i think im going to be sore - but it was fun
and the 8 am photoshoot earned me a Tim's sausage burger - yum

and today went for a walk straight up hill from my place - yes i will be doing some hill repeats there later i can see - for now - it is a great walk and the sunrise is awesome from up there

nope didnt run yesterday
yes i ran today - first glimpse today of how hard this thing is going to be- but only until i get past that completely out of shape phase and get this ball rolling
tomorrow will be first consecutive day of running - that is the second consecutive day of runing but the first second consecutive day of running if that makes more sense

an old man asked me if all this running/ walking was worth it i said "it's fun"

yes i did run today and the first 10 minutes felt terrible but the last ten minutes felt, well.. not so terrible

every day #1

so i have this crazy idea that one of my resolutions for 2007 will be to RUN every day - yup - that's the way it is always is with me - radical black and white - all or nothing - love me or hate me - scalding hot or frigid freezing cold but please dont dick around with anything luke warm

so i ran today and the plan is to walk tomorrow and so on for this week and then next week bump runs up to two for every one walk and then start in - run every day

oh yeah - it's going to happen...
ill be publishing ALL the resolutions soon
